Reflexology
Reflexology is a holistic, non-invasive therapy based on the principle that reflexes, or areas, in the feet, hands, ears and other parts of the body correspond to internal organs and other physical structures. The reflexologist views these areas as a perfect mirror of the body, a microcosmic map of reflexes pointing to organs, muscles, bones, lymph nodes and endocrine glands that can be accessed by stimulating specific points on the map. Reflexology produces a variety of physical changes in the body; it enhances relaxation, improve circulation and assist in the removal of waste products from the body.
